What's New in Your Tank Today?
Just got a small bag of baby red cherry shrimp ... they are so tiny! Popped a few in each tank. Hopefully some will find some good hiding spots and grow, and not get eated by the tetras! Just saw one of the bigger ones surfing around the tank without being bothered, so maybe a handful will make it.
    Wish them luck!

    What's new in your tank?

Those guys are cool. I had one but I didn't think and added Melafix/Pimafix to my tank and he died. I haven't added anything to my tanks lately. The fish add fry to the tank at least once every two weeks though.

With me just moving down to VA from VT I haven't moved my tanks down yet. Once I get them down here sometime this month I'm sure I'll be adding things to them.

Not sure on the types they were on sale at petco for 4.99 so I bought a trio. One is like all pink with long fins and many eggspots on them, another is this same color with a little more of the calico pattern but the fins arent as long, and third one is base coat grey zebra pattern with orange highlights on the "stripes" and bright orange/pink pins.

I got a flowerhorn, spiny eel, two knight gobies, and a gold nugget pleco. They are all lucky to survive since the guy who shipped them didnt double bag and the bags started leaking. The flowerhorn was in an inch of water (its 4") and was very close to death when I threw him in th tank.

Its d-day here with hurricane hanna looming off the coast everyone take care and stay safe!

We have flood watch and tropical wind watches here already. They've been issued since 4:30am.

Hope you stay safe, and don't lose power for too long.
