    Has the idea of a monthly theme for the photo contest been considered?

    For example:
    1. Photos of Close ups, only.
    2. Photos of Strong patterns, only.
    3. Photos of Invertebrates, only.
    4. Photos of Blue (red, yellow, brown) fish, only.
    5. Photos of Three or more fish together, only.
    6. Photos of Eating, only.

    These are just a few very ordinary and popular themes, I'm not really trying hard. I just wonder if anyone likes this idea.

    The most significant change would be in the voting phase, when we would vote on not only whose is the best photo, technically and compositionally, but also which photo best fits the theme. It would take the contest to a whole new level.

    Good idea? Crummy idea?

    yes, but i don't have that tank anymore, the next set of pictures are going to be tropical fish setting

    maybe that could be the end of the year ideas, i would think monthly would be a little difficult for that, that just my opinion

    Anthony.. Whats going on with the ''No fish related photo contest''
    Is it going to be monthly along with the fish or is it going to take turns or whatever
    And is it even coming and if so when :) ?
